About This Coffee

At 1200m above sea level, the region of Cerrado in Brazil is home to exceptional coffee. After being processed at the washing station, these beans are shipped to our trusted partners at Swiss Water Process where the magic of decaffeination unfolds. The Swiss Water Process stands apart in the coffee industry as it’s 100% chemical-free and uses only pure water to gently remove caffeine while preserving the bean's intricate flavour profile.

This innovative method aligns perfectly with our commitment to quality and sustainability - and through a meticulous process of soaking, flushing, and drying, we achieve a superior decaf coffee that's 99.9% caffeine-free. At our roastery in Somerset, we employ specialised roasting techniques to account for the unique characteristics of these decaffeinated beans.

By carefully managing the increased moisture content and reduced mass, we unlock the full potential of flavours - delivering a cup that's rich, smooth, and indistinguishable from its caffeinated counterparts.

Sustainability & Traceability

Sustainability and traceability are fundamental to our culture at Brazier so all farmers are paid fairly and we’re working towards greener supply and production methods. For more information read our FAQ page and Impact Statement.
