Perched along the stunning Jurassic Coast with panoramic views of Cobb Harbour, this local gem has evolved from a daytime café into one of Lyme Regis's most beloved culinary destinations.

Exceptional specialty coffee was central to Karl's vision for The Lyme Bay before the doors first opened in 2018. “We have been using Braziers as our main coffee supplier since our inception 7 years ago. They are out and out the best coffee roasters in the South West”.

Supporting Growth

Over the years we've supported The Lyme Bay's growth with tailored barista training and equipment solutions. And when they expanded into evening service, we helped optimise their coffee workflow to maintain consistency during peak hours. We’ve also worked alongside Karl with his expansion further into the South West; and in 2023 they opened their second site the ‘The Lime Kiln’ in Ilfracombe - which is now a firm favourite with locals and visiting tourists thanks to stunning views out to sea and across to the famous Damian Hirst statue “Verity”. 2025 will see them launching their third site; ‘Beach & Barnicott’ in Bridport. Once again we’ll be providing them with a full coffee-solution, supporting them with equipment, training, and of course; coffee.
